Trot singer Haesoo, aged 29, recently passed away according to several Korean news outlets. Her death was reported two days after the discovery of a K-pop star’s body, with the singer’s identity undisclosed until the investigation concluded. The cause of her death remains unknown.

South Korean news outlet YTN reported on Monday that the K-pop singer identified as Haesoo. Koreaboo, a news portal, also mentioned the recovery of a suicide note by the police. However, specific details about the letter are being withheld by the officers who have ruled out any suspicions of foul play. Initial reports stated that the singer was found dead at her dorm, but newer reports indicate that she was discovered in a hotel room.
Due to her untimely death, Haesoo will no longer be participating in the festival scheduled for May 20, as reported by YTN.
Haesoo made her debut in 2019 as a well-known trot singer. Her notable single album was titled “My Life I Will.” She gained popularity in South Korea through her appearances on TV shows such as “The Trot Show,” “AM Plaza,” and “Gayo Stage.” Additionally, she showcased her talent on KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Song.”
