AFCAT Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must be unmarried and below 25 years of age at the course commencement. Widows/widowers and divorcees under 25 are also not eligible.
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (born between 02/01/2001 to 01/01/2005). The upper age limit is 26 years for those with a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA India.
- Ground Duty: 20 to 26 years (born between 02/01/1999 to 01/01/2005).
Educational Qualification
- Minimum 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a three-year undergraduate degree or BE/B.Tech degree with at least 60% from a recognized university.
- Graduates with an NCC ‘C’ Certificate.
