IITM Project Scientist Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Meteorology, Oceanography, Atmospheric Science, Earth Science, Climate Science, Physics, Geophysics (Meteorology), Electronics, or Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or its equivalent. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks from a recognized university is also acceptable. Additionally, applicants should have 7 years of proven research experience in areas such as Global Data Assimilation, Decadal Prediction, Decadal Predictability, Climate Variability, Climate Extremes, Climate Prediction, Earth System Modeling, Climate Modeling, Coupled (Marine Environment) Modeling, Sea Ice Modeling, or Land Surface Modeling.
