RRC SER ALP Bharti 2024 Education Qualification

Candidates must have the prescribed educational or technical qualifications from a recognized Board/University/Institute by the notification date. Applications will be rejected at any stage if the required qualifications are not met. Candidates who have not received their final qualifying exam results by the closing date (12.06.2024) are not eligible.

RRC SER 2024 Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): The selection includes a CBT, followed by a qualifying test (if applicable), document verification, and a medical examination. Each post will have a separate CBT, and selection is based on merit in the CBT.
2. GDCE Quota: The GDCE quota is included in direct recruitment vacancies, with the CBT standard matching that of RRBs for open market candidates. The CBT will cover General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, with 100 objective questions in 90 minutes. Questions will be in English and Hindi.
3. Aptitude Test: GDCE candidates must pass an aptitude test in their respective categories.
4. Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of 1/3rd for each wrong answer in the CBT.
5. Eligibility Marks: The minimum percentage for eligibility is UR-40%, OBC (Non-creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, and ST-25%.
6. CBAT for ALP: A qualifying examination (CBAT) will be conducted for pre-selected Assistant Loco Pilot candidates based on CBT merit.
7. Examination Dates: RRC/GRC will notify examination dates through SMS and email. The CBT will be conducted by RRC/GRC.
8. No Supplementary Exam: No supplementary exams will be held for absentees.
9. Exam Instructions: Candidates must follow the instructions provided on the computer terminal during the exam. Non-compliance may result in disqualification.
